About us

⚡We are building Celsio to power Europe’s industry with clean and affordable heat.

• We pair power-to-heat installations with cross-market electricity trading (day-ahead, intraday, balancing) - optimizing the resulting flexibility across the power markets to realize real savings for our industry customers
• We have quickly established ourselves as the leading player for optimized power-to-heat in Germany - we signed industrial-scale pilot customers, built partnerships with the leading boiler manufacturers and recently closed our pre-seed funding round with strong investors**.**
• In the next few years, Celsio becomes the backbone for industrial decarbonization in Europe. Hundreds of plants running on our systems. Trading software routing flexibility through the grid every day. CO₂ savings measured in megatons. We're early enough that the people we hire now shape what that becomes.
• Team: Celsio was founded by Tim and Stefan — they met at CDTM and came back together after relevant experience across energy trading and heat-intensive industry. Tim runs commercial, Stefan owns product. The team has since grown on the technical and commercial side, and we're hiring across both to scale even further.
